Kishor kumar Sutar

Kishor kumar Sutar is currently member of Indian council for Agricultural Research,Govt.of India under the ministry of Agriculture and farmers Welfare and Founder of ORCHID BIOTECH, ambitech agri-tech company which provide qualitative tissue culture planting material for the horticulture crops. He has immense contribution towards the agricultural development of the state Odisha and known as ORCHID man of Odisha.

So far his education qualification is concerned, Post graduate from the National Institute of Human resources Development,Govt.of India and Master in Social Work from Indira Gandhi National University.He has contribution in both Odia and English literature and now editor of an Odia annual magazine “Biswakarma” dedicate for the social life of craftsmen in Odisha.

Beside political profile,he had vast experience in corporate and development sector, he was state head in united villages Inc. an USA based Sec 80 development organization from 2005 to 2009 and had set up many Jana Seva Kendra in the remote part of Odisha.

He was founder Secretary of Odisha Rural development and Marketing Society, which was working for the upliftment of rural bamboo artisans and had established common facility Centre(CFC) in Tendakura Panchayat,Kendrapada district to impart modern training and technical know how to the artisans.

He had set up a showroom in Ekamrahaat, Bhubaneswar since 2005 to 2016 to showcase articrafts of the village artisans and had establishes a rural mart named Desi masala at Baya Baba math Lane,Bhubaneswar to sale rural delicacies, produced by the SHG women of Odisha.

In colabrating with the ORMAS Dept. of Panchayat Raj Govt.Of Odisha in public private partnership mode.
